User Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. How to do it depends on whether you hold a Tabli account or simply received a WhatsApp message from a business that uses Tabli.

You received a WhatsApp message from a business

Tabli is software that businesses use to run their own WhatsApp. If a business messaged you, that business decided to contact you and controls your data — we only process it for them.

  1. To stop the messages immediately, reply STOPin the same WhatsApp conversation. This is recorded straight away and the business’s future broadcasts will exclude you. You do not need to contact anyone.
  2. To have your data erased, ask that business directly — they hold the record and can delete it from their contacts.
  3. If you cannot reach them, email us at support@tabli.in from the address you were contacted on, or tell us the phone number that was messaged and roughly which business it was. We will identify the workspace, pass the request on, and make sure it is acted upon.
Account holders

You have a Tabli account

You have two options, depending on how much you want removed.

  1. Delete individual records yourself. Signed in, you can delete contacts, leads and conversations from within the app at any time. Deletions take effect immediately.
  2. Delete your whole account and workspace. Email support@tabli.in from the address on the account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm it is really you before doing anything irreversible, then delete the workspace, its WhatsApp connection, contacts, conversations, templates, campaigns and stored credentials.

What happens, and how quickly

What we may have to keep

Deletion is not always total, and we would rather say so plainly. We may retain a limited record where the law requires it:

  • Invoices and payment records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • A record of your opt-out, because we need to remember not to message you again. This is the minimum needed to honour your choice.
  • Data held by Meta. WhatsApp message delivery is carried out by Meta on its own systems. Deleting your data from Tabli does not delete it from Meta or from WhatsApp itself — for that, see Meta’s own privacy policy.

Make a request

Email support@tabli.in with the subject “Delete my data”. Include the phone number or email address the data relates to so we can find the right record.

If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you may complain to your data protection authority. In India that is the Data Protection Board under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

For the full picture of what we collect and why, read our Privacy Policy. Your broader rights — access, correction, portability — are covered in section 8 there.
